CBR experience

 The undertaking of community-based research has become an enjoyable activity for me and my peers because it involves presenting beautiful places, delicious food, religion, culture, technology, arts, and crafts. It fosters a love for one's hometown, providing insight into life there, what makes it unique, and its beauty. It also involves discovering the hidden treasures of our country, encouraging people to visit them.

Our ICT subject required us to conduct research in our area, which wasn't easy, requiring us to interview local experts. We began by discussing and dividing tasks. Our chosen research topic was religion and the church in Bantay. We allocated time to worship at the famous Bantay Church, also known as the Parish of Saint Augustine of Hippo or Bantay Church. We interviewed a tour guide and a church expert who shared that worship at the church started because of the miracles attributed to Nuestra Señora de la Caridad, fulfilling devotees' prayers and wishes, hence the large number of devotees.

In our ICT project, I was assigned the Recommendations and Bibliography sections. In the Recommendations, I described activities inside and outside the church, such as Sunday mass, lighting candles in the candle room, and visiting the small chapel known as "The Chapel of Ruins." It's crucial to inform people about these activities so they know what to expect and where to go within the church. Through these structures, we can worship God. Strengthening faith requires participation in church activities. Lack of advertisement and limited awareness of Bantay Church in other areas are issues we addressed in our recommendations by suggesting activities within the church. In the Bibliography, I referenced all our online research to support and enhance our findings. This is vital to bolster our gathered information.

 In conclusion, that's what I and my group did. Faith is a responsibility to praise and glorify God, and we should prioritize it in our lives by allocating even a small amount of time. Worship for Catholics is profoundly significant, as it acknowledges the one Creator who can grant love and prayers if we follow His instructions and commandments. Our connection with Him is strengthened through prayer, whether it's for forgiveness, blessings, needs, or gratitude.
