High School Day Celebration

 The High School Day celebration at Ilocos Sur National High School is eagerly anticipated and prepared for by the majority of students. It spans a week of rehearsals and preparations for the various dance presentations. The celebration filled with excitement and anticipation as each student showcases their talents in crafting props and cooperating in the selected festival dances.

Commencing with the teachers and students, the celebration kicks off with a morning parade around the school grounds, serving as both exercise for the students and a spirited start to the day. Each section and grade level, from Grade 7 to Senior High School, proudly marches.  Following this, students are given time to rest and enjoy snacks as refreshments.




Subsequently, the highlight of the event unfolds as students take the field to perform festival dances. Male students from grades 7 to 10 lead the performances, followed by their female counterparts. The joy is appreciated as the students seamlessly giving their best for their movements, accompanied by props. The winners emerge with Grade 9 females and Grade 10 males.


After the presentations, everyone gathers for a lunch, followed by a concert hosted by the teachers in the gymnasium. The concert filled with participation as students and teachers alike come together, showcasing their musical talents and unity. Thus, the high school celebration concludes on a high note, leaving lasting memories of teamwork and happiness.

Such celebrations hold significant importance, providing students with a platform to showcase their talents in dance and performance. It highlights the importance of honing youth talent, ultimately leading to impressive results and fostering a sense of pride and belonging within the school community.
